"I can't thank Johnny from Devon and Cornwall Roofing enough for helping us in our hour of need. We never had a problem before, but suddenly faced water coming through a bedroom wall during heavy rain. The wall was actually wet inside and it happened so quickly. Johnny came out same day of our panicked telephone call, he found problem and a temporary fix was done in pouring rain. We needed to get a new roof urgently and Johnny was so efficient and professional in arranging scaffolding, materials and a start date and kept us informed of progress every step of the way. The materials used were high quality, the roofers were always on time, polite and hardworking and we are delighted with the workmanship of the finished roof. I am so pleased we used Devon and Cornwall Roofing and would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Johnny."

"I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Johnny turned up promptly to view the roof and inside my flat too because the flat roof was compromised and there were damp patches inside the property. Johnny video called me while he was on the roof to show me the issues. I wasn’t surprised that the roof needed replacing because it’s been on for almost 20 years. Johnny gave me options and quotes for replacing the felt with felt and for replacing with fibreglass. He was factual. There was no mansplaining. I wasn’t made to feel like an idiot. And there was no tone of impatience when I asked questions. He never made me feel silly. I did get a cheaper quote for replacing with felt BUT Johnny was the deciding factor for all of the reasons above. I opted for fibreglass. Slightly more expensive but lasts longer and isn’t joined up like felt so more secure. I was kept updated with pictures and short videos of the work and the issues. And, looking at the videos made me realise how bad the roof actually was. If I had any doubts that the roof needed replacing, they were completely dispelled by the videos. Johnny knows his stuff! He and his men completed the job speedily and left everything tidy and clean. I’m so grateful."

After dealing with other roofing companies in the past who either overpromised or did a patchy job, Johnny was a complete breath of fresh air. "I recently had some essential work carried out on my chimney, including repointing, brickwork repairs, and lead flashing, and I’m really pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and clearly experienced in what they do. The pointing work was neat and tidy, matching in well with the existing brickwork and giving the chimney a much cleaner, more solid appearance. They also replaced several damaged bricks, blending them in perfectly so that everything looks consistent and structurally sound. The lead work around the base of the chimney was also done to a high standard — properly fitted and sealed, giving me peace of mind that there won’t be any leaks or water ingress going forward. They kept the area clean and respected the property throughout the job, and communication was great throughout.
